Membership
Survey and Mapping Association (SAMA) aims to have a broad based membership across all the regions in the country and inclusive to the organizations and segments associated with geospatial domain. Provisions for Individual and honoree membership, by invitation, strengthen thought leadership.
Membership Categories and Eligibility
Eligibility
SAMA membership is open to only Indian organizations, individuals or to Indian subsidiaries of foreign entities operating in India who by virtue of their business domain or by academic pursuit and who in the opinion of the EC , are, in some or other way, stake holders in the survey and mapping community.
Membership Categories
Founder Members:
The members who have signed the declaration of formation of SAMA as desirous persons in the MoA are the founder members and are deemed to be the life members of SAMA.
Organisational Members:
Any organization which in some way or the other is connected with geospatial domain having linkages with surveying and mapping in its process and products can become an organizational member of SAMA.
Hon. Members:
Some distinguished organization/ individuals may be accepted by EC as Hon Member.
Individual Members:
Any individual who intends to join SAMA can fill in the Application form. The confirmation to the individual will be sent by mail once it is approved.
Annual Subscription
The annual subscriptions for membership to SAMA have been decided to enable access to start ups, MSMEs besides established players in the domain. Membership year will be reckoned from 1st April of every year irrespective of joining date. The category wise annual membership fee for SAMA is given below:
